We are a group of passionate people dedicated to ending cruelty by saving the lives of abandoned cats and kittens on Marco Island.
To date we have rescued and adopted over 1200 cats and kittens into loving homes and TNR'd over 800 cats. In 2008, 40 of the rescued cats on the island were domestic housecats abandoned in the middle of the night due to the current economic environment and housing foreclosures. So far, 2009 has brought more of the same and we ask for any help that you can give us so that we may continue our efforts to save these frightened, disoriented and depressed adult cats that need hours of love and patience to help them recover from such a traumatic experience. Adult cats take time to place into a new loving home- please consider adopting a young adult cat into your home- they are so desperate for the love they once thought they knew.

Kookie is a 5-7 year old tortoiseshell female. She is a real "talker", loves attention and is just the sweetest little girl. Her previous owners did not take care of her teeth and she is missing some from gum disease. She is under vet care to help her recover. Her tongue sticks out a little because her small teeth in front are gone but it makes her look so cute. She is spayed, tested, treated, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $35.
